Dominica showcased impressive skills, leading in attacks (60-54) and service points (8-2). However, the match was fiercely contested, with Antigua demonstrating their strength at the net, recording 23 blocks compared to Dominica’s 10. Despite committing 39 unforced errors, Dominica's resilience shone through as they fought to secure the win in a thrilling final set.

Tahj Jno Jules was the standout player for Dominica, contributing a remarkable 21 points. He was well-supported by teammates Larian Tulloch and Sherron Vidal, who each added 15 points. For Antigua, Immanuel Donovan led the charge with 17 points from 15 kills and 2 blocks, while Amali Mannix scored 15 points through 13 attacks and 2 blocks.

This victory marks a significant achievement for St. Vincent, the defending champions, improving their record to 1-3 in the tournament. Anguilla, despite their efforts, remains winless.

Key to St. Vincent’s success was their offensive prowess, showcasing a notable advantage in attacks with a score of 29-19. They also outperformed Anguilla in service points, recording 12 against Anguilla's 7. Notably, St. Vincent did commit 31 errors, slightly overshadowing Anguilla's 28.

The match featured standout performances from St. Vincent’s Damari Frederick and Tariq Duncan, both of whom contributed 14 points. On the side of Anguilla, opposite hitter Trevon Smith led with 8 points.

Captain Damari Frederick expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, stating, “We changed the tactics of the game, started to play smart, communicated more, and transitioned better. All in all, we played better today.”

Despite early challenges, Grenada effectively controlled the Saint Lucian offense at crucial moments. The team led in attack points (46-27) and serves (12-2), committing fewer errors than their opponents (17-29).

Head Coach Javin Noel remarked, “What really worked for us this evening is that we came out to play fearless volleyball, showcasing the systematic approach we are accustomed to. Our aim was to ensure we executed our first pass effectively, and we are focused on winning all our matches.”

Saint Lucia's captain, Daniel Myers-James, acknowledged the team’s struggles, stating, “Our passing was not up to our usual standard, and our setter faced challenges coordinating plays. Our defense also faltered, but we will regroup and come back stronger for the next game.”

Giovanni Francois led Saint Lucia with 13 points, while Daniel Myers-James contributed 8 points. Jamal Collins was the standout player for Grenada, scoring 16 points.

JOHN'S, Antigua, November 14, 2025 – Dominica's U23 Men's team continued their dominant performance at the ECVA U23 Men's Championship, earning their third consecutive win today against St. Vincent. The match, held at the YMCA in St. John's, concluded with a 3-1 victory for Dominica (25-14, 20-25, 25-13, 25-17).

Dominica's powerful offense was a key factor in their success, outscoring St. Vincent in attacks 47-27. They also held an advantage in blocks, leading 7-4. While Dominica committed 35 unforced errors compared to St. Vincent's 31, their overall performance secured the win.

Kyron Phillip, Dominica's outside hitter, was the match's top scorer with 17 points, including 13 attacks and two aces. Tahj Jno Jules, also an outside hitter for Dominica, contributed 13 points. For St. Vincent, Damari Frederick, outside hitter, led his team with 12 points.

"Well for now I think we are doing well, we expect to win our games, and we are coming out and actually winning," said Ithoma James, head coach of Dominica. "There are a few things we need to brush up on, but we have a young team, and we expect them to make little errors but at the end of the day we are strong enough to come through and win the game because that’s what we are here to do. We are very happy about our wins no matter who the competition is once we get to the finals and win it".

Despite the loss, Damari Frederick, captain of St. Vincent, stated, "We don’t feel too good about the losses, but we know we are putting in our best to win the games, but we have to find different strategy, communicate better and keep trying our best. Our motive as defending champions was to head back home with the championship, but it is not going the way we expected it to go so we just must try and win the rest of our games".

Dominica now stands undefeated with a 3-0 record, while St. Vincent seeks their first win with a 0-3 record.

The team outperformed Saint Lucia in attack points, scoring 57 compared to their opponents' 41. However, Saint Lucia dominated at the net, recording 14 blocks to Antigua’s 5. Additionally, Antigua displayed sharper focus with fewer unforced errors, committing 37 against Saint Lucia’s 48.

Leading the charge for Antigua was outside hitter Amali Mannix, who delivered an impressive 21 points, supported by middle blocker Kemarni Joseph, who contributed 13 points. On the opposing side, team captain Daniel Meyers-James led Saint Lucia with 24 points, while middle blocker Peter Emmanuel added 12.

Antigua's captain, Kemarni Joseph, commented on the match: “As we all saw, this was a tough game. We started rough, making mistakes, but we adjusted our strategy and returned to the court stronger. We acknowledge the possibility of meeting them again in the finals or playoffs, so we cannot underestimate them. Tonight’s victory does not mean we relax; we must maintain the same intensity and perhaps even improve. Our approach was to play simple volleyball, and when we stick to our strengths, our players excel.”

Dominica’s Captain and outside hitter, Larian Tulloch was the standout performer, leading all scorers with an impressive total of 10 points, comprised of 8 attacks and 2 aces. Following him was opposite hitter Sherron Vidal, who contributed 9 points through 7 attacks and 2 aces. For Anguilla, Captain Trevon Smith led his team with 8 points.

"We opened the match strongly, taking advantage of Anguilla’s errors," commented Tulloch. He added, “It was a great win, even though I felt we lowered our level a bit too much. We played our game well, and hopefully, we can improve in the next games. I encourage my team to continue playing with confidence and to do their best.”

In contrast, Anguilla’s Captain Armani Richardson reflected on the match, stating, “As I mentioned before, we are a young team, and while we are putting up a good fight, we struggled to capitalize on our new tactics. We need to continue fighting and build our confidence.”

Grenada maintained control throughout the match, utilizing powerful serves that prevented St. Vincent's key player, Damari Frederick, from establishing his rhythm. Outside Hitter Daniel Mayers-James stood out for Saint Lucia, leading the team with 12 points, while fellow Outside Hitter Giovanni Francois contributed 10 points. Antigua demonstrated dominance in all scoring categories, leading with 38 attacks to Anguilla’s 13, 4 blocks to 1, and 8 service points to 4. The teams were closely matched in errors, with Antigua committing 25 and Anguilla 23.

Outside hitter Jedidiah Christian was a standout performer for Antigua, scoring 7 points, followed closely by opposite hitter George Freeland with 6 points. For Anguilla, middle blocker Amani Richardson led the scoring with 5 points, while outside hitter Shaquoy Reid contributed 4 points.

From the outset, Antigua maintained rhythm and control, closing the first set decisively. As the match progressed, Antigua continued to dominate, finishing the second set with a resounding score of 25-10. The third set sealed the victory for Antigua as they surged ahead by 8 points, ultimately winning the set 25-17.
