Grateful for the win, Grenada’s Head Coach—Shakira Collymore said: “ We are happy for the win , because we really wanted to win, and a win is a win”.

Collymore’s counterpart- Jason Liburd was elated that his players were presented the opportunity to compete at this level.

“For most of them , it is their first- time playing Volleyball outside of Anguilla, so for them it is a new experience… They were very nervous at the beginning and that was expected, but they gave a good account of themselves, and hopefully they will have a better showing in their other matches”, Liburd related.

Next on court action pits St Lucia versus St Vincent and the Grenadines in Pool A.
