Andre has been involved in Volleyball since the early 1980’s as a player and then as a Referee.
and is a full-time active in Volleyball then he became involved with Beach Volleyball in 1994. Volleyball Canada
recommended him for a FIVB International Beach Referee Course in 1996.
Andre has worked on around 800 International matches as a Referee working on the FIVB World Series and later
in FIVB World tour events, including many World Championships.
In 2005, the FIVB asked him to become a Referee Delegate and a FIVB Referee Instructor.
Since then he has worked at 4 Olympic Games and 2-Youth Olympic Games.
As Instructor, Andre has given 2 FIVB Beach Referee Course and 3 NORCECA Beach Referee Courses so far.
Very involved in the NORCECA Beach Referees Andre is a member of both the NORCECA
Referee Commission and the FIVB Referee and Rules of the Game Commission since 2010.
This summer, Andre will work on NORCECA and International Beach Course in St. Kitts,
Senegal and China.
Andre will be the head Referees for this year Youth Olympic Games in Senegal.
Still very active in Volleyball at the highest level in Canada both as a Referee and a clinician.
