𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: 𝐄𝐂𝐕𝐀 - 𝐕𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦

The Volleyball Information System (VIS) team for the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) is responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing real-time data and statistics during volleyball competitions.
This team, often under the Technical and Statistics Commission, ensures that the ECVA adheres to NORCECA and FIVB standards by providing accurate performance data on players and teams.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐂𝐕𝐀 𝐕𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:
𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: VIS team records detailed statistics, including player performance in attack, block, and serve. They are also responsible for all Broadcast and streaming, scoring and Data Management. This data is crucial for analyzing athlete performance and developing national teams.
𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: team provides the official data required for the Control Committee to select the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and other individual player awards, such as Best Setter, Best Libero, Best Digger, and Best Receiver.
𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: team operates the digital VIS, streamlining operations during tournaments to improve decision-making within National Federations.
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: team is involved in training local personnel to be VIS supervisors, ensuring the standardization and strengthening of the statistical structure in the region.
𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: as part of the Control Committee, the VIS team (e.g., VIS Supervisors) ensures the timely and accurate reporting of match results.
